One bolt connects the adapter to the bit and you are ready to pull in a fraction of the time it takes to remove the bit and attach a pulling head. Radius also makes big rig tooling, Brutus the "King of Rock Bits" was developed for Maxi-rig operators who needed a tool that offered increased steering ability and control for long, deep bores in conditions that simply do not require the effort of expense of a mud motor. Designed to cut a 12"-14" hole, Brutus is available with 4 ½" or 6 ½" API Pin and long tail shaft which allows the use of power tongs. With a mighty 1 ¾" diameter tooth shank, the cutting teeth are designed specifically to cut and roll which increases their productivity and durability in the hole. A smaller tooth shank just won't cut it on these bores. A variety of replaceable nozzles are provided to arrange a flow pattern and specific volume for different jobs.
